This e-store sells a variety of prime-quality beauty products and cosmetics. Due to lack of promotion, it remained just a small niche shop. Its owners wanted to improve its website’s position in search results to attract more potential customers.

1. To improve the website’s position on the SERP for the queries related to cosmetics.

2. To create the company’s recognizability in connection with certain cosmetic brands to attract prospective customers.

3. To optimize content on the website.

The results achieved:

1. We made up the most exhaustive list of search queries, split into pages. It helped us understand the main direction of the SEO strategy.

2. The basic site optimization included the following works: disabling indexation of technical pages by robots.txt; setting up the sitemap; fixing incorrect scripts on the website; applying the proper regional settings on the site. Also, we removed duplicate pages and made the site’s URLs human-readable.

3. Content optimization: Along with preparing headings and meta descriptions, we had to rewrite most of the site’s texts. The audit revealed that a good share of the existing content had been stolen by competitors. As a result, search engines considered it not unique.
